Message accessories at a slower rate, thereby lowering the parasitic losses to the accessories.

Lightweight means just that - it is a lighter version of the original.

In the case of the UR pullies, they are both lightweight and underdrive.

Fortunately our engines fire straight down the crankshaft which significantly reduces torsional harmonics. If our engines used a broken firing order, like in the case of I6's, V8's, etc, we would not be able to eliminate the damper without compromising the life of the rod bearings.
